StageGunn Productions
The show will go on . . .
I started out like alot of us, as a stagehand in my High School. I was determined to be a rock star like Stevie Ray Vaughn or Eric Clapton. Unfortunately, my family saw differently. So, I went into the military and that is 2 years of my life that I care not to discuss. Before the military I worked for The University Of South Carolina stage department. Immediately, I fell in love with the way the lights were arranged on the stage. It was unlike those in my old High School. There were like rays from Heaven shining down on the world.
Where do I go from here? . . .
eventually, after dibbing and dabbing into the local club scene, I went off to the military to serve my country. After returning home from my service, I went back into this great and wonderful world to obtain my life long dream, production and lighting. I settled in California. I lived in San Diego, L.A., San Francisco, Berkeley, etc. Around 1996, after being here and there as a 'carp' on different low paying tours, I decided to settle in the bay area and succeed at my life long dream as alighting technician then lighting designer. I would love to tell you all the horror and exciting stories, but, you would need to take off of work for a week. But, I will say this, they all were fun and sometimes even beyaond stressful. But, that is the world of entertainment. Luckily, I am still surviving to tell about it. Please, Take a look at my portfolio page and my about page for more information regarding my current and past professional experience. For all of my friends email me and I will send you my current private contact information.
Great Site for those starting out or in need

a week . . 34 cities . .and we what? . . .
You know those tours (no certain ones) that make more money than most other tours. Then they only give you like a week, you pay for your own hotel, pay for your own food, drive your own winnebego, and have to buy a ticket to the show just to get in so you "can" work? Me neither. But, seriuosly, there are those tours out there. And guess what, some of us worked on those tours, and wished they were more $$, free beer, and good music or theatre. But we all have to make sacrifices in order to be what we are, "US". I did theatre as a young man in Columbia, S.C. (thats co-lum-b-uh for those that live in Carleston, I mean cho-tun . . .Just Kiddin.), and made no money but love how the lights made the stage look like someone was having a dream and you got to watch the whole thing sometimes even be in it. As I got older, I changed my mind about everything and went into the Navy. We won't talk about that.As a matter of fact, lets skip forward all the way to Now. Well, anybody wanna start? Ok , I wil , I will tell you about What StageGun Media may actually be useful to you and/or to yout Production.
What do you mean the trucks are late?
Even though it usually is only me that you get from StageGun, you get experience, proffesionalism (unless its not required to be professional), skill (except for sound and backup singer), determination, Leadership, and a great looking whatever I see for us to look at during the show and try to figure out how they got that up there. So, for your next event, festival, concert, party, or even if you are needing a whole cre to do shakepeare in the park. Drop us a line and we promise to at least show up before the show begins.
